Registration is now open and the countdown to kindergarten for the class of 2039 is officially underway. We are excited to welcome the newest generation of LCPS students as they begin their journey toward graduation.
Families are invited to attend the Countdown to Kindergarten Day 2026 celebration on March 26, 2026, at their child’s elementary school. This special event, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m., gives students and families the opportunity to meet teachers, connect with school staff, explore the building, and build excitement for the first day of school. Each kindergarten student will also receive a free backpack filled with school supplies to help prepare them for the new school year.
We strongly encourage families to begin the enrollment process as soon as possible. Registering ahead of time helps ensure a smooth start and allows schools to prepare for incoming students.
While staff will be available to assist families who still need to complete the registration, we highly encourage you to complete the process before March 26, so you can fully enjoy the celebration without paperwork delays.

Cuenta regresiva para el kínder: inscripción abierta para la clase de 2039 de LCPS
La inscripción ya está abierta y la cuenta regresiva para el kínder de la clase de 2039 ha comenzado oficialmente. Estamos encantados de dar la bienvenida a la nueva generación de estudiantes de LCPS que inician su camino hacia la graduación.
Se invita a las familias a asistir a la celebración de la cuenta regresiva para el kínder el 26 de marzo de 2026 en la escuela primaria de su hijo. Este evento especial ofrece a los estudiantes y a las familias la oportunidad de conocer a los maestros, interactuar con el personal de la escuela, explorar el edificio y emocionarse por el primer día de clases. Cada estudiante de kínder también recibirá una mochila gratis llena de útiles escolares para ayudarle a prepararse para el nuevo año escolar.
Animamos a las familias a iniciar el proceso de inscripción lo antes posible. Inscribirse con anticipación ayuda a garantizar un inicio sin contratiempos y permite que las escuelas se preparen para los estudiantes que ingresarán.
Si bien el personal estará disponible para ayudar a las familias que aún necesiten completar la inscripción, recomendamos que completen el proceso antes del 26 de marzo para que puedan disfrutar la celebración sin retrasos en el papeleo.
